Fun is in the eyes of the beholder, just look around does any part of this mess look like fun? The picture does not show the fun part, it is my recliner in front of the 63 standard, for the people that don't know Studebaker dropped the name lark mid year in 63 and went to real names cruiser, daytonas, commander, challenger, and the fleet model the standard, that car there was about $1750.00 new..Bob

In the second photo it looks like your suspender buckles (slides or whatever they're called) are getting close to the paint...you don't want to scratch the finish. If you're doing some detail work close to the car, you might wantto cover them with some duct tape or something...same reason why I take off my belt when polishing.
        Just an idea....

          Hallo,

Would it then be incorrect to refer to a "Lark Daytona"?

I just gotta ask: Why is the car 1/2 clean and 1/2 dusty? Curiousity is killing me.

The paint was done in 1994 so is not perfect but ya you are right I should take better care when doing these thing , thanks
I guess it is correct to call it a lark Daytona if you wish but Iam sure this will start another topic.
It has been in the shop for some time and not covered and I was working my way around the car, Pat got in a hurry with his pictures, if you you see the car in my post California candy it should show cleaner...Bob

That depends on what year you are referring to. As Bob said, the Lark name was dropped. You could have a 1963 Lark that is a Daytona model, but a 1966 Daytona Sport Sedan is not a Lark model. We do tend to lump all of them together as "Lark types".
