When you think of the amount of work it takes to change dies required for stamping, the question comes to my mind is why did Studebaker continue to use sections of the car line not sold after 1960, not to mention the additional parts such as guages, heater, ect that would have made more sense, more modern & have the economies of less additional parts to stock the assembly line. This is a great example of what should have been. If it had been taken, the break even point would have been lower, the product more saleable & perhaps the auto division may have lasted longer.

Man, do I ever love that truck! I wonder how are it is to put that front clip on a Champ pickup. I assume it was a Champ pickup.
I really like the '66 grill set up, even on cars. I guess I like the simplicity of it.
