Gas or Diesel, they are the same. If you are refering to the 96"BBC front end the PN is 1652272

Yep that should be the rim without a parking light or louvers, just plain smooth, all the ones I have seen were chromed, but if this one came from the factory chromed it should have a "W" after the #, so maybe that is not the same one or they are all owner option plated. [^]

If you need one of those babies, good luck finding it!

Mine appear to be clear anodized. One thing I had always found interesting was that there is no part number cast into them as was the norm with other trim parts. They appear to be a really nice sand casting rather than a die casting. I've considered making a pattern and casting some but have just never gotten around to it.

Those don't appear to be correct. All the ones I've seen have no "louvers" and the lower portion is narrower and the bottom edge has a large radius rather than being flat across. If you look at his description he says 1956. I don't have a Parts Manual for those to check the number against. My E45 is long gone. But I am hoping the current owner gets tired of it. I'd like to have it back.

That's odd, he says these louvered '56 ones are 1654074, that's a newer (higher #) than what Andy said fits the '63-'64 Toter/BBC Trucks 1652272, could the BBC type have been used first on something before 1956? That seems unlikely! Or maybe someone has the wrong number. [:0]
