I have a new (to me) '51 Champion 4-door. I just got the papers back from the Museum, and with help on another thread, I have now learned that it's a Regal.
Since it's all original and complete (except for 2 wheel covers and possibly the radio), I've decide to restore it, rather than "rod" it. Not a Concours-style resto. I'm gonna drive it. But I'd like to be as true to its original styling and equipment as possible.
Calling all bullet-nose Champion owners and experts! Can you help me put together a description list of what makes it a "Regal?" I have all the trim parts. But what about interior that I must redo, like upholstery type and quality? Door panels? Carpet? Or is there such a list already available somewhere?
