  • Need i.d. on suprcharger bracket

Can someone i.d this supercharger bracket. The aluminum bracket has a number of CH 101 stamped in it and the cast iron piece 39395-3. Not an expert on this late model "hot rod" stuff! Came out of a Studebaker dealer stock so assumed it was a Studebaker part but not certain. Does anyone need this? If so I plan to list it on Ebay as soon as I get a positive i.d. Thanks.

It's for a '55 to '57 Chevy according to the VS-57 site. See
http://www.vs57.com/indextech.htm ; tech ref, bracket id.

Now Biggs, are you sure? Could it be the top secret spring loaded grenade launcher for the Weasel?

Thanks to Mike and a direct email from Dwain G. we have it nailed down to the 1955-57 Chevy. I have listed it on Ebay. Appreciate the confirmation. Of course if someone wants to adapt it to their own uses, be it a hood support or grenade launcher for their Weasel, that is fine with me.
