  • How much for a radiator?

How much should a very good used Champion radiator cost? I haven't bought anything like this in years.

The last radiator I had rebuilt (2008, Hawk 3-row) was $478
That was almost DOUBLE from just the year before.. I was VERY surprised to say the least... as the place had been real reasonable before that. (2007 price-$285)

Very good used, flow and pressure tested, I would think you couldn't get it for much less than $100, maybe as much as $200.
I've always felt having mine recored, while it's more expensive, gives greater peace of mind, assuming you plan on keeping the car.

I got a freebie with the 2R engine I brought home today.

The one I am talking about is from a dealers stock. The radiator was removed from an almost new car and stored. I saw the sheet metal and interior panels which had been saved from the same car and they were perfect.
