    I would think even a really rough car could be worth saving... I can't remember ever seeing a 51 Convertible in person! Might be worth looking into...

      I checked out two 1951 convertibles that a friend from Maine was looking for. He bought them both. Both of these cars were right here in New York State (on your side of the Hudson.
