I set a snipe bid on these as the seller said they were coupe lights. Now they have changed the description saying someone said they wont fit the coupe and I need to know if I should cancel my bid or not. I asked for the part numbers but did not hear back. Thanks,Steve

They definitely don't fit coupes. C-K backups are longer and have a much shallower angle in the rear cut.

59 thru 62 wagons!;)

Edit: Hard to tell at that angle, but it appears those aren't the correct lenses. They might fit those fixtures alright - the correct ones are taller tho.

Put up pics and we'll figure out what your odd stuff fits - assuming it fits Studebakers!;)

Those B/U Lights get the '57 to '61 Hawk Lenses, which are not pointed, but bucket shaped. [:0]

Thanks for the offer but I have very few spare stude parts and most I can id. Mostly I have pieces dad had from motorcycles most people have never seen and many have never heard of.I was able to identify a bunch of Indian and Harley stuff a couple years ago but he had pieces left from Ariels,Hendersons,Aces,Zundapps,a moto-marini(sp),all kinds of american, british and european bikes. There are a few brand X auto parts and some *** bike stuff he or I accumulated over the years but nothing I would believe was of value outside the classic motorcycle parts. There are some books I need to sell off but I think they are all either motorcycle, watch, guitar or corvette related.I already nabbed the studebaker literature. Thanks,Steve

Those look identical to the ones on my 50 Champion 4 dr. I paid about $200 for my set.

See Bob, this is why eyewitness accounts of crimes or accident scenes aren't that reliable. ;)

The lite assy on the left is the one in question - here shown with the proper lens in place.

The lite assy to the right is what your car - assuming you strived to have THE correct back-up lites on it - should be wearing. Complete with it's GLASS lens as opposed to the later plastic lens.
