    my commander has sat for at least 19 years I worked on it for about 1hour and she runs smooth need carb rebuilt and a radiator too but im
    happy. might be looking for a radiator any ideas would be graet.

      Nice job! It's a great feeling when you get an old sleeping engine to fire for the first time in years. Carb rebuild is easy, takes less than a couple hours, even for a first timer to Studebakers like me. I bought my rebuild kit from studebakerparts.com, in the $30.00 ballpark. Really great people and service, give them a try.

      I found out after my recent work on my 58 that radiators swap between 58-64 and probably 55-64, but someone else will have to verify. A good radiator shop could fix the one you have though.

      Post some pictures, we'd love to see it!
