1959-1960 SW tailgates?

Will the 1959 and 1960 Lark tailgates interchange? They have different part numbers but I do not know the difference. 1336342 is the 1960 and 1332726 is the 1959. They are still separate numbers in the 1966 price book.

That would be because the Tailgate was totally redesigned in 1960 and fits '60-'62 only. It has the "almost frameless" glass upper gate with the very thin frame and the handle is moved to the lower gate, which is also different. The upper gates come in painted frame, on Deluxe Lark and Stainless Steel on Regal Larks.

One of the BIG advantages of this change is, no more severed fingers of little ones! The scissors upper gate hinge was replaced with a hidden in the roof new design hinge! [^]

Your '59, interchanges with '54 to '58 tailgates.
