Pertronix for the 170 6 Cyl?

Does anyone know if you can get a Pertronix point eliminator kit for the Stude 170 (1964)? I see them listed for the Chevy 6's and Stude 8's only.

I got mine from Ted Harbit, just before he sold the parts business to Phil Harris. Check with Phil at Fairborn Studebaker, he has the best prices of any vendor IMHO.

I get the impression that the same electronic distributor can be used on the OHV six as was used on the flatheads. Ask Bill Cathcart, he will know: http://www.cathcartsstudebaker.com

I just got a petronix electronic ignition converter for Christmas. Our car is the 63 Lark OHV 6 cylinder. The petronix number you want to order is Part# 2561 fopr prestolite 1at-4403 distributers. I hope this helps out there. Waydon.
