We Had a great time Gus Stole the show. It was broadcast live so I taped it. They announced our Club commented on The Red 51 Looked at the Black 56 then All you could hear was Mater the cameras bypassed the 63 Daytona and the 57 Silverhawk Gus Mater was the star of the show. I only took a few pictures with the digital camera the rest I have to develop. Notice Gus in this line up before the Parade he was already Looking over us.

Nice parade and great cars. Was Mabel at the end of the line? It's been a long time since I have seen an ice plant!

Yeah Mabel was Bringing up the rear. The Red 51 had door sign and so did Mabel. It was great as the last car I got to hear all of the great comments about the cars. The chanting for Mater was something that I will never forget. Ol' Gus did Studebakers a great PR job Today. Everyone that came and said Hello to him told us we couldn't fix him up he needed to stay Rusty. Well for now he may get Red primer until the Cars Movie fans get used to the Idea that he is just a regular guy.

I wish my '63 wagon looked as good as the one in your photo. They're the same colour. Mine has the added colours of wellworn ermine white, rust red, brown and beige. I'm thinking of getting another front clip and returning this one to it's original owner, the other Daytona twin.

Gotta name 'em. Twin and other twin just doesn't cut it.

What can I say Annie (regarding Gus/Mater)? The costs of celebrity???
