Went to a local car show there was about 300 cars, a nice show with all makes and models. There were 8 Studebakers, and parked in the same area. Two 63 Avanti both supercharged Two 58 Packard Hawks, a 59 Silver Hawk, a 63 0r 64 GT Hawk, 56 Golden Hawk, and my 56 Commander. All of them got many, many looks

Do you have another photo of the turquise Avanti? The side windows look different to me.

I don't recognize either Packard Hawk. You did not happen to get any info from the owners? If you see Packard Hawks in the future, please try to get some contact info from the owners and forward it to me. Also a Body Number would be helpful.
        Thanks

I think the Avanti is the one I saw in Omaha...

I believe it is a recreation of a styling study. 2 passenger. To compete closer to a Corvette. I liked it [8D]

Good show, Ebon. Thanks for the pictures!

Yes, the one and same. The owner winters in the valley.
This car was done by Mr. Kellogg of the Studebaker styling Dept.
He pull it off the line, I think it was number 37 maybe 32, and redone it in his garage. The owner has all the photo as being done. The car is 7" shorter than our 63 R2 parked next to it.

The Avanti is owned by an Ozark Trails member that winters in south Texas and lives in NW Arkansas the rest of the year.

Now that is one sweet lookin Avanti. It is lowered about 1 to 2 inches from stock also, that makes the wheelwells look a lot better, the tires fit the wheelwells.
I THINK i want an Avanti, but would have to sell my Conestoga to pull it off.
