I recall reading in Turning Wheels that at Studebakers, the factory would fall quiet at 12:00 and the guys would get their steel lunch boxes and thermoses out and listen to Paul Harvey. He was definitely a part of our American culture for many years.

Not me- I never go to the "newsgroup". Not a police officer here on the Forum either- just noting that a thread had already been started on the subject. But yout thanks is noted anyway.

This was part of the "Last Packard story" from a few years ago. I did not believe the Packard part of the story and I don't believe the stopping work to listen to Paul Harvey part of the story either.

You can't be serious?

All I did was point out the there was a thread already started. I got an unnecessary cranky answer and responded. Now you're attacking me?

My response to the OP was just pointing out the other thread already posted. It was never Intended to offend, just inform. I'm sorry you took it that way.
