  • Service Bulletin for Shifter Adjustment?

I tried searching but couldn't find it. I seem to remember a while back someone posted a link to a Service Bulletin or something similar, which described the procedure for adjusting the shift linkage for a 3 speed OD trans.

    Anybody have this link? Thanks.

SB #207 GEARSHIFT FT LEVER, RATTLE- 7G 15A

This only involves a running change- by adding a spring. No adjustment data.

It is the only adjustment listed in the SB or SL indexes.

I'd have to say that there is NOT a Service Bulletin/Letter on the subject.

OK, then what I saw (and printed, and LOST!) was not a service bulletin, but maybe a supplement to a shop manual? Anyway, it described the order of how to adjust the shift linkage. It was pretty involved, about 2.5 pages with a few pictures, as I recall. My crackerjack filing system at home has failed me and I can't find it!
