  • How do these ignition switch lights mount?

Anybody know how these ignition switch lights mount? Any drawings or pictures?

    I'm sure it's pretty simple...

It IS! The light fastens to the switch housing on a small boss that may need to be drilled and or tapped for the light which was not on low-end models.

You position it so that the spot of light hits the bezel where the hole (on the top) is located, then connect to Instrument light switch, or in case that is not where the factory connected it, check the wiring diagram in the Shop Manual.

      StudeRich,

Yes - that makes sense now. I have a reproduction switch bezel now - one w/o the hole. I do remember original ones having that hole though. Thanks.
