proving ground post tops

Awhile back there was a discussion on these pieces off the proving ground posts. I knew I had taken a picture of one that was for sale at the spring swap meet a few years ago . This one was an authentic one not one of those repops that Mr Studebaker had made up .
If I remember correctly the man that had it for sale wanted around $2200 for it . I'm pretty sure he took it home with him .
Wonder what ever happened to it []

That is really neat. I did a quick search and did not find the other thread about this subject..... any clues, I am quite intrested.
