  • Bob Peterson Update

I visited Bob on the way back to Washington from the GNRS.

Bob was just finishing the final touches on vacating his storage yard. It looks like this now...

Although Bob had to scrap literally tons and tons of Studebaker parts, he was able to save some of those he thought might be most needed in the future. He has these stored at his shop in Hayward, CA, and at his house.

More pictures of the empty yard and some of his current stash of parts here...

Looks like a nice site indeed. However, Bob, you just might not like the rental on it. Anything out bay-area way is really expensive.[xx(]

John couldn't help but notice that the boat he fell in love with in the yard is gone. He's hoping that Tracy wrapped it up for him for Valentine's Day...

Dicks pictures are one day short of being done, now there is nothing at all in the yard, even the building is on its way to the ground, I didn't sell the boat and just gave it away to the same guy removing the building 75 hp Johnson out board also, all Tracy and John needed to do was say something and they could have made a 2nd trip to California....Bob

Bob, I think you even offered it to us while we were there but the reality is that we didn't have room for it. We are glad that it went to a home that wanted it. You've already made it possible for Tracy to smile everytime she goes into the garage. Dave, we know it seems crazy to write this way, but we honestly sit down and write our posts together- our Studeprojects are a joint hobby that we enjoy together! That might slow us down a bit here and there, but it's also crazy fun!
