The "tear hole" in the hood (flamed and signed by "some artist" named Von Dutch) looks to be outward bound, not inward, as described in the story

Hey Dan, I really liked the story too! Somewhere along the way, the sale seems lost in the presentation. Is this "the actual car" restored, or a replication of the car? I also noticed the nature of the tear. Wonder if the part from the other car could've come up from the underside and ricocheted through the hood?[8D]

I agree...the car is lost in the story. Maybe 3 lousy partial pictures of the car. No real description. (it's a recreation, BTW, not the original).

He says this...

"We have run the ad for a 7 day auction on eBay and currently it is on its second auction on eBay. We will continue to run the car continuously on eBay auctions until the reserve is met."
