Now I just had to go and read the story, I wish you guy's would quit sending me to great links, cause now I want one. [}] Al's white one would fit in well with the collection []

Good thing I have both feet planted in the current project cause I can't be traversing the country for a skytop........now where is that convertible I was thinking about? [:0] (got side tracked )

Great reading, Bams! The four-door Skytops are sure rare. I've only ever seen two in the flesh in the over-twenty years I've been looking at Studebakers.

One of the Avanti-powered Skytops I had learned about when researching at the SNM archives, was a black R1 '63 Cruiser with red broadcloth and a Skytop. What a great car that would have been! Went to Cincinnati new I believe.

Since there were many additions and options starting in 61, ie skytop and cruiser. OHV6

Was the skytop offered/orderable on a cruiser?

If so, would that make that model/option the "needle in the haystack"
or holy grail or the hope diamond for Lark afficianado's????

              And if not.

              What is?
