  • Tip for Digital Photography Buffs

Ok, most of us are using digital cameras these days as an integral part of our Studebaker hobby. Editing software can be expensive. Photo Shop is very nice, but also quite pricey. I recently ran across a software that does 98% of what Photo Shop does and costs ZERO. Yup, it's free. I'm not telling you to go to their website, just that it's there and it is free if you need such a program. www.gimp.org is the web address

Absolutely free, easy to use, does quite a lot of stuff. Its also not
a memory hog like some programs.

Ross, that's interesting. I always thought of Picasa as a site just for downloading. I never knew it had editing features. GIMP is a bit complicated at first. However, if you read the instructions that come along with the package, it isn't that bad. I find it simpler than Photo Shop, and ....it's free.
