  • '64 1 ton transtar rear end

    I need a complete rearend for a 1 ton 8E13 transtar with hubs and drums included.My location is Christiansburg,Va.

          I will answer all three replys at once.I need the Timken dual wheels.I am located in Christiansburg Va.24073. I will not attending the meet in Parksville,BC.It is a long way to go.Maybe some other year.I will post on the truck forum and ad my location to this one.I appreciate the replys.You all have been helpful.I am new at using the forum.Should have did so sooner.Thanks,J.C.
          I goofed.After looking at both of my trucks and the Studebaker Parts book I have learned that I need a Spicer.

            John - Welcome to the Forum... no worries about attending the NW Overdrive in Parksville, that's just part of my signature block so everyone gets an invitation!

            Keep us posted on your progress and post some pictures when you get a chance - I always enjoy pics of medium duty Transtars/Diesels/etc. [^][]

              Thanks Mark,That is a fine looking Transtar pickup.I owned one similar to that several years ago.I now have 2 1 tons,'63 and '64 and a '32 St.regis restomod that I just finished.
