This photo recently sold on Ebay for $284!! Now, why can't I get that money for my photos? Yes, it is a Studebaker, a '34 or '35 though not identified as such in the item description. I know that some old photos bring good prices because of their historical significance but $284?? Your guess as good as mine.

I don't know how I missed that one. Of course I would pay anywhere near that amount! Too bad the watermark is on it.

You can buy a Lincoln picture from the same vendor for $30.00

It is absolutely amazes me what some items on eBay can bring when you have two parties that want an item so badly that they will pay whatever for it. I think this just happens to be one of them. Richard somee of your things have brought great prices too and I have had a hand in driving them to higher levels. I personally would not have paid that for this picture but someone must have wanted it.

I'd be happy to sell a whole box of photos to anyone here for less than $284. They're all of my family and friends, but for anyone who wants to claim my great looking family and friends as thiers, it may be a bargain.

The Lincoln picture is from a unknown photographer, unlike the expensive one. I might prefer a Elvis velvet painting over some famous abstract artist if I could not sell the abstract one.:)
