This after noon I just happened to see what looked to be a Zip Van in a Jimmy Stewart movie Dear Brigitte circa 1965,
Has anyone else watched this movie? It was rough to watch, good thing we were eating Christmas lunch and opening gifts.

Father (stewart) has a son who writes a letter to Brigitte Bordoeux in Paris and somehow they correspond via letter and she invites them to Paris. Well that confirmation letter was delivered in a Zip Van.

If this has been posted in the Studes in Staring roles I'll delete and or update that post.

And I couldn't find the movie at NETFLIX so a no go on renting it there.

Guess no one has watched this movie before.

I'm going to try and look for it on video.

Here's a link to the Internet Movie Car Database showing Zip Vans in four films or TV series.
This film isn't listed...but you get to see that Zip Vans have had some screentime as ice cream trucks...

I'm nearly certain that the first and third photos aren't Zip Vans, as they have two-piece windshields.

If you look close, the second picture is also not a zip van it has a two piece windshield

You are indeed right, Mr. '62 Lark Sedan with six...thanks for pointing that out. I should've spied that myself, too.

Actually the only one that is a Zip Van is the last of the four. Zip Vans were long gone before I started working at the Post Office in 1974. I have driven all three of the other postal vans pictured and can assure you they are not Studebakers.
