  • Cheap Stude!!

The Syracuse Nationals is a HUGE car meet at the NYS Fairgrounds every July. draws about 7,000 cars of all types- Street rods, muscle, classic, antique- most anything!

I got there the first morning this last July and saw this Stude; notice the price on the sign...

    Yeah, that's a g-note [][]

I immediately yanked the sign and threw it under the car while dialing the number on it... person who answered the phone said it was already sold... went by a few hours later and sign was back on!! I again yanked the sign and called; girl on the other end said "hang on" and giggled; then hung up... dialed several more times and got voice mail; left messages; never returned...[}] I took the sign with me and tossed it in the trash when I got away from the area...

Must have been some kind of prank or something.... boy, woulda loved to take that one home.................

    Bob,

Kinda like at York a couple of years ago when someone stuck a for sale sign for $50.00 on a Stude pickup bed that had been converted into a trailer. It was a prank from the word go.
