Fiberglass Hood Overlay part 2

This was in the trunk when I bought the car.

Somewhere I saw a picture of 2 reinforcing strips that go somewhere between the bolts on the overlay and the nuts but I don't see any reference in the parts book.

I don't have these- can someone describe them (how wide, what size holes)? Also what kind of nuts/ lock washers? Most of the bolts are still attached but no nuts.

About 1/2-3/4 wide, holes a bit bigger then the studs. How it looks is not critical, it's under the hood pad.
