    I noticed the body side molding underneath the rear side window has a little wide flair to it, what is the model of car with the wide spear? A regular lark has a narrow molding running the entire length of the car?

    I can't tell what car you are referring to but it sounds like you're describing a Daytona.

      If you are referring to a '63 Lark, it would be as Art said, a Daytona.

      This was a trend in the early 1960's to have a Sporty Model of 2 dr. Hardtop and Convertible with bucket Seats, and give it a name.

      Chevrolet Impala SS, Ford Galaxie 500 XL, Plymouth Fury (Sport I think!) Studebaker Lark Daytona!

      In 1962 Studebaker did that, having a Regal HT & Convert with a bench seat AND a Daytona with buckets just like a basic Impala and the SS version. In '63 they made the bucket seats an option to the Standard bench seat.

      The Lark Daytona had a butter knife (spear) that increased in size down the side, but you should be able to read the Gold "Daytona" script on the rear end of it, so it's no mystery! [:0]

        If it's a '63 (identified by the narrow door/window frames and no wrapped windshield), the "blip" in the trim under the molding designates a Custom. On the '62, it's a Daytona and will have the gold script as such. Customs are "naked" in that respect!

          Well that's all fine and good, but let's not confuse the poor guy by adding in F body 2 Dr. Sedans and Y Body 4 Dr. sedans to the mix, we're talking Hardtops here, mostly Daytonas.
