  • Steve T's 62 Lark VI 2dr sedan

Posted one of those irritating big wide shots before...here's a couple newer, narrower, shots of Betty the Lark...

Proving that one can visit South Bend without leaving Hamilton!

She's in the barn now; next April/May she'll get some interior work and a "Lark Shine".

That IS one nice Lark! Probably my favorite '62 Stude color, too.

        Bill and Dylan--

Thanks...Funny thing about the blue on my Lark is that if it is in fact a Stude shade it's from the wrong year! It resembles a faded coat of Gulfstream Blue, which was a '60 colour. The actual paint on this Lark when new was an apparently Canada-only hue, Metallic Blue P6218, which was considerably paler than what's on the car now (and was of course metallic). If I have the car long enough to consider a repaint, I'll likely try to replicate P6218; in the near term, however, a Lark Shine in the spring will have to suffice...
