On Wednesday we drove down to the inlaws for Thanksgiving dinner. My father-in-law had told me a few weeks ago that he had watched a parade in which he noticed a really nice Studebaker truck. Turns out the mother-in-law knew the gentlement and knowing my interest in Studebaker's, received permission for a visit. Thanksgiving doesn't get much better than that!

We visited Mr. Fuller. Seems he has been a long-time Studebaker collector and had three parked in his garage. A 1958 Champion 4-door, a 1962 Lark and a 1951 2R5 pickup. All these cars are spotless. He has done all the work himself over the years and has done a fine job.

Now, I'd like to have a garage like this:

I've got to tell you in 59 my girlfriend drove a 58 commander 4dr. sed. Back then I thought that car was ugly! But today the 58's are right up there as a very good looking car to have! I guess I've changed over the years? Thanks for letting me share that.:)
