Wiring advise needed.

Should I go with a universal or order factory ones. Underhood is OK, under dash and steering column is a bit scary. 61 Lark by the way.

Factory works ......NO modifications......You never know about aftermarket.

Thank you all for the info. Now another question. If I use a universal, I can use the factory switches and all. However, how about the column stuff, like the turn signal switch. Thanks.

I bought a NOS turn signal switch at Lancaster, age unknown, but it was vinyl covered wire. It worked in my '55 President as if it were made for it. A little difficult to put in. I made a light (thin) wire with a hook on the end, pushed it in from the bottom, pulled one wire at a time through. It wasn't easy, but it sure beat pushing six wires down that tiny crooked hole.
