        Hey! That's in the books. Section 05 (Cooling) of the Chassis Parts Catalog for 65-6 cars.

          Yep, one of mylast race cars had top-quality version of that; worked flawlessly. Most all Dirt Modifieds I drove had the firewall double as a motor plate. The trans. sits right between your legs, the driveshaft yoke somewhere under the seat. When I was 18 I had a trans blow up and send pieces right up THROUGH the roof, about 6" forward of some precious parts. Wuss that I am I added a 1/8" cover the length of the trans. before the next week Of course, nowadays they're designed and built MUCH safer; BORING[|)]
