  • Valve Stem Holes in Wheels

When I bought my 50 Champion back after 14 years with another owner who died during that time, the wheels looked the same. However, upon further examination I found that two of them have the valve Stem holes on the inside of the wheels. I guess that this is no big deal but I do not understand. There are no signs of any holes ever being on the outside. Was there some advantage to this change etc.

    Thanks for your input.

sounds like someone reversed the wheels.
Old school. Take the center out and turn
around for offset. Or maybe a wider outside
rim. Does it look welded on the inside, where
the two pieces are put together?
