I have now replaced my second axle shaft and when I run the car in gear with the rear axle on stands , the hubs /drums do not run true. It appears as if the axle shafts are buckled. This is on both sides. Should they run true ? I have checked them on the lathe and the ends do not appear buckled but the middle , narrow section appears buckled ? I have a 58 Silverhawk.
