I am now the proud owner of a 1962 Hawk..ser# 62vc-2042.It needs MAJOR work to restore and I haven't decided yet if I am willing to take on the task. My first step is aquiring a build sheet but I can't seem to find a source listed in T.W. Can anyone out there help me out?

Hi Bob and welcome to the forums.

You need to go to the Studebaker Museum Website and click on "Shop."

From there you can order a copy of your car's production order which is what you want. http://www.studebakermuseum.org/

Hey Bob, and welcome! Here's the direct link to the museum's order page:

http://www.studebakermuseum.org/detail.asp?item=465&cid=211&yl=211&nosearch=true&pgnum=1&p0=

Don't let the 1959 cutoff date fool you; they go right up to 1966. Be patient - mine took 8 weeks! [8D]

I believe that you have one of the 546 1962 Hawks made in Canada.

Thanks to all for your help. I think I'm going to order one and call it my first Christmas gift of the season. !! I hail from Chilliwack, Mr.Biggs. I'll try to get some pictures posted of my new "baby" but I'm not too computer savvy and this is the first forum I have participated in. Please bear with me...bobmac
