Several years back I had some yellow paint mixed out of Acrylic Enamel computer matched to a NOS valve cover. I made it up for myself, but there was a minimum order so I parted with the rest to recoupe some of my cost. I sold it all within a couple days. It flew out of here. I got several glowing reports of how several people liked it and complemented on how it sprayed like a spray gun, not a spray can.

This summer, I ran out of my own supply of yellow, so I had more made up. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering several cases of the stuff with intentions of selling alot of it. So far, with ads on the net and an advertisement in TW I have sold 3 cans[xx(] and I've promised a couple more cans for free to a couple friends.

Since I have several cases of this stuff sitting in my basement and obviously it's unsellable, does somebody want any of this stuff in exchange for any of the following parts I need? I could use the following in exchange for some paint:

64 lark dog dish hubcaps
53-55 sedan dog dish hubcaps
any 55 sedan trim clips
1964 daytona fender scripts
1963-64 daytona wagon aluminum trim piece that goes on outside top of tailgate.
1964 quad headlight bucket trim
1963-64 station wagon rear tailgate glass or manual crank regulator parts (prefer for fixed roof, but would try parts for sliding roof).

OR WHAT DO YOU HAVE????

I got a couple cans of this paint from Kent, and it's high quality paint, especially considering it's in rattle cans. I sprayed a little on an old valve cover, and the color is spot on correct. You won't find any yellow paint closer to original than this.

As for the orange paint Joe I recently bought a can for a Avanti fan I have. I purchased it a local automotive parts store (FLAPS). Duplicolor Chevy/Chyrsler Orange is the one I bought from the recommendations of this forum. I think it was about 6-7 dollars

I only sell yellow. No black or orange. I am not a vendor.

I've gotten a couple requests for a single can. I haven't responded because I'm trying to figure out shipping. Honestly, with how nutzo prices of shipping is, shipping will be more then one can of paint. I can't ship it for a buck or two given today's ecomony.

I suggest you order at least a couple cans, or share a order with other local SDC guys, because I can fit up to 4 or 5 cans in a flat rate box whch costs $9.90 to ship.

Okay. Anybody on the west coast need some of this paint?

As per my other thread I will be going out west to CA and I'll include relay to Calif for free.

You would be better off to just look at Matt's Pic. of the Pale Yellow, not as bright as Bright Yellow or John Deer Yellow color, and find some at your local Paint Store.

I am sure the "High Temp. Engine Enamel" BS is just that, for the amount of heat that Valve Covers get, even ordinary household Spray Enamel will work fine. :)
What the former poster here, was selling was not "special" either. :o
