44 rear axle?

Trying to do some quick thinking here to see if I can justify spending some more gas $.

Whats the going rate on a good used 'open' 44 rear end in 4.10 ratio? Complete end-to-end.

Maybe $150.00 when you go to a 4.09 ratio which is what the 44's were, (the 23 & 27 were 4.10) you are now-days into the drag racing end of the scale, and most would want the Twin Traction, so I don't see a high value here.
However one COULD spend big bucks for an Auburn simi-Locker conversion to put in there, to get very limited slip.
