I seem to recall a discussion (or two) about rebuilding the original fuel pumps that our cars came with. I did a search and nothing came up.
I suspect my pump has quit. I would like to repair/rebuild the one I have so who do I contact for a repair kit? And what information do I need to order it?

Thanks

George, I was most likely the culprit who has been harping about those useless Airtex pumps, you probably would have found it under "Carter fuel pump". Here is one:

Any way I have the rebuild kit, email me the Carter number that is on the edge of the mounting flange, some have the tin bowl with paper filter, others are the glass or older yet ones had a cast metal filter bowl. It needs to be an original Studebaker OEM Carter with a fuel filter on the bottom to take a Carter kit.
