... I recently sold a pair of chrome headlight rims. They were advertised on my parts page with pics..
.... We all know what they are and go on... (56-61 C/K)

So the buyer contacts me and I give him a price, etc. He sends me the $$ and I ship them to California... When they arrived, he liked the condition, so emailed me and thanked me, but then he asks me 'What they originally went on"?
....

A bit confused now, I respond....'59 Hawk'..
He replies, thanks, they fit my 59 Rambler perfectly....

Somebody on the HAMB forum just bought a 53 Studebaker that has 52-54 Ford or Mercury headlight rims. I wonder if they would bolt on.

Maybe an old 'vendor' made the buckets for different car companies.
I'd bet I could use headlight buckets from any brand on my Hawk-as long as they were the same diameter headlight.

"Studebaker? It must be hard to find parts for those!"

Sealed beam lights as used on the 50's Studes, and most every other
car have been the same since the late thirties. That is when
the are just single headlamps. I have used the 50's Merc.
headlight doors to french many different brands.
