Seems cheap to me, but I'm used to Hawk fenders.

I was thinking that NOS '56-'58 fenders weren't hard to find...didn't Wisconsin Studebaker used to advertise them pretty regularly in TW, and I even thought N&A had them...or, am I thinking they threw those out during the move?

On a recent trip to South Bend, somebody (Bob A, or Clark?) posted pictures of what they saw at SASCO. In one of the pictures there were many Avanti fenders, and one for a '56-'58 sedan- but I couldn't quite see what year the fender might have been...

Cheap price if you need one.Name another brand of that
era where a NOS fender isnt as much or higher. That price wont
buy a clean used fender for a Big Three car.

The Packard fenders are different than the Studebaker fenders. The lower front portion of the fender is bent differently and drill hole patterns are different. This is because of the way the bumper mounts. Wisconsin Studebaker has rear fenders only and they are the rears for the Studebaker. A very good body man can make the rears work on a Packard because of the molding's ability to cover your seam. I too have seen the fenders at Sasco. At the last national in South Bend, I picked up three of them for $100 a piece. In hopes of a future project.

Come to think of it. Someone could easily spend this type of money in repairing one at a body shop. With an nos one....at least you know what you are getting, it is solid and rust free.

Lookee here. I saw this fender earlier in the week and didn't bid because I knew it would go nuts.[B)] Man, if I'd know that a hundred bucks would've owned it...........[V]

$100 is a steal for an nos 58 fender. I see to that it is the same seller as the Packard fender in 2008. Interesting story on his listing.

Another line of thought. While we all know about SASCO
a restoration shop or a person new to Packards or
Studebakers could bid that fender that high.

I have a NOS front fender for a 57 Packard. I would sell I can't remember what side I would have to go look in the barn. I really hate to weld up all the holes to put on my 56 Commander but It looks like I'm going to have to.
