Getting ready to sell the 2R truck on ebay and it reminded me how not to just rely on pictures. Yes, it is a nice solid truck, but the paint is sorta sad. The paint is old and tired and buffs right down to the primer if you try and buff it. If you just looked at the pictures without the disclaimer we'll add, you might think it's a high dollar truck. I've been fooled by pictures myself, so its just reminder that pictures can flatter a car or truck.

Wipers look dangerous, but I like it. ;) Ballpark price?

Should pull that and more, nice looker. May be the digital pic, but are there bubbles by the hood and fender near the lights?

No, but there is a dime sized rust spot down low on the front fenders.

Thanks. That's one thing about pictures as you mentioned. They can look ten times better, or worse than real life. I briefly searched for signs of a two door Lark wagon in the Utah desert this week. No luck. That truck looks like a southwestern survivor. Is it?

:) John: That's a very nice looking truck! Geeze, I enjoy seeing those that aren't green. Nothing wrong with green, but dark (Clover Green?) green R5 Studebaker pickups are kind of like copper & white 1957 Bel-Air 2-door hardtops.[:0][}:)]

Again, a sweetheart for someone wanting a decent-looking truck for occasional use...and with overdrive to boot! :DBP

Here's the youtube video again. The video quality is bad, but for those who did not get to see it. This is after a 15 year slumber. It woke right up and runs like a top. Still needs a couple of items finished, but you will not find a nicer C Cab to work on than this one. It is in many ways, nicer than the pictures show.
