Are you talking about the one that points directly to the rear of the car and the bottom driver side corner? You won't likely need to do anything. Test drive the car. This screw sets the upper limit MPH for 2nd gear for when you do HEAVY acceleration, i.e. it determines when it shifts out of 2nd into direct drive, which under heavy acceleration is around 60-70 mph. If you don't do this kind of heavy acceleration drag racing, then it probably won't be an issue.
Even if is is set too high, you can simply let up on the accelerator when you hit 60 in 2nd to allow the tranny to go into direct drive. If it is set too low, then it'll shift early into direct drive under heavy acceleration and that probably won't be an issue.
If you feel the need to replace it, if my memory is correct, it is a simple set bolt. So you should be able to back it out (if you can get a plier or screwdriver on it) and find some bolt of similar size to replace it.
Good luck

Thanks for the info.I have been out of the country for awhile..Removed the adjustment screw and replaced with a new one.Stude international has them in stock. My main concern when removing the sheared screw was if it had parts inside that would drop into the govenor.

I did exactly the same thing, Lee. It happened last spring, I backed the screw out, not knowing what it was, replaced it with a 1/4 20 cap screw and went on my merry way, ignorant of any problems. When I replaced that engine last month I took the cap screw out and replaced it with a set screw before the removal so it wouldn't catch (having read your post of 10/10/08.)
Thanks for warning me, and thanks for gathering Eric's answer to the question.
