  • tail lights......what do these fit ??

What specific years do these fit ?
    Specific models ?
If possible, page number(s) in parts or chassis manuals ?
    Any actual photos of same...

Brad, can't tell you all the years or models. That is an issue I have brought up about number/part cross referencing and there seems to be no such thing.

Here is what I can tell you:

The bezel and lens that looks like this one is in my book for '50 models 6G, 7G, 8G, 9G, 14A, 15A, 16A, and 17A.

    Bezel:
    285398 for 6,7, & 8 G
    289760P for 9G in primer
    289760W for 9G in chrome
    285900 for 14, 15, 16 A
    290321 for 17A including reflector

    Lens:
    285393 for 6, 7, 8 G
    289838 for 9G
    285901 for 14, 15, 16 A
    289859 for 17A

Ok, Ok, I admit, I forgot part of the complete answer.

This info came from my 1947-50, second edition, chassis parts catalog for Champions and Commanders.

Those are not Studebaker tail lights

They sort of look like early 50's Packard taillight lenses and bezels.

A resemblance to 47-49 Commander taillights, but housings don't contour around body like Stude.
