  • Golden Hawk Update just one picture

Its a 1957 Golden Hawk it has been apart for about 12 years. Our Friend Casey came across it. He bought it and offered it to us. We have had it about a week now. David had to get this other Truck running before we could bring it inside. Well today we did fuel pump was off of it David checked it over. Then he put a battery in it. Here is what it sounds like.

And the other most recognizable being the coming-and-going car or Glass Porch as the Europeans call it.

Well Annie, has the proud daddy decided on a name for Junior? It's interesting how much this model looks like the '53-4s without all of it's trim.

In answer to Mr. Biggs it has been hiding in a Back yard at Cedar and Princeton for the last 12 years. Its owner passed away about a year ago. His wife was having some work done on her house and the Carpenter is a friend of Casey's so he took Casey to see it.
Bams Yes well Casey asked me my nick name is "Eagle Eye Anne" to go look at her place for the Supercharger it wasn't on the car. Well they had been there three times already and didn't find it. I went over there last Tuesday I searched high and low. I should have taken a picture of its resting place before I moved it. It was hiding on a bench beside round weird looking speakers with a wash bucket sitting on top of it all dusty. Almost didn't see it. See I hadn't ever saw a Supercharger in person before. It was opened up the bolts were all loose so I got to see inside.
Studeclunker a name Hmmmmm Casey, Goldie Goldielocks those are just a few names being thrown about.

Just thought that I would share this is the engine compartment as of today. The Brakes are done the Transmission is serviced the rear end is serviced. Front end is rebuilt. Engine is done ready to reinstall. The seats are at the Upholsterer the Supercharger is off being rebuilt. Boy sounds like a Santa Clause story. I will take more pictures this was from Davids Cell phone. I am going to start polishing the rest of the Stainless and the chrome. Did a few pieces they came out great I'll take pictures.
