I got my production order from the museum last week, and today, I got my reproduction window sticker from Richard Quinn. Great quality and a nice product. I opted for the fancier version rather than the more traditional Stude template. Now, if only I can find a dealer to do that 10,000 mile service year after next.

Final assy date was 6 days before I went into the USAF.

Miscreant Studebaker nut in California's central valley.

    1957 Transtar 1/2ton
    1960 Larkvertible V8
    1958 Provincial wagon
    1953 Commander coupe
    1957 President two door

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Funny how some dates just stick in your mind.

I find it odd that the final assembly date is typed in and not hand written on the Production Order when the Avanti was built.
