  • John's '54 Land Cruiser

Probably many are getting tired of my bragging about my '54 LC WITH A/C. So this will be the last post about it. It is not perfect (What car is?) but drives well and easily and I LOVE IT!

Not only does it have the obvious jim-cracks (Winguards, full wheel covers, rear skirts) it also has a 12v system and a '64 Cruiser 289/Flight-O-Matic drivetrain and steering system. The AC is of the Novi trunk-mounted variety using a modern rotary compressor instead of the old York-type used by Studebaker.

I've been looking at all these Member's Cars and this one I really like, with a/c and skirts.

Johnnie, what IS that "thing" over the left fender parked in the street? Looks like something out of a year 2110 movie or something! [:0]

There is an "O" gauge railroad layout mountain range on the decklid?[:0]

It looks like has those wanna-be wire wheels made of cast aluminum.
