Mr.Quinn,I believe he is calling it a 3G.It is too "street rodded" for his tastes, and wants to return some interior and other things back to stock.

LOL-He wants it more identifiable as a STUDEBAKER,since people keep calling it a Willys!

I call those Dick Tracy cars since they are so nondescript. It never ceases to amaze me that some of these street rodder types want something really "different" then tear up a perfectly good car and remove all the identifying characteristics that would make it "different."

The '41 Champion coupe looks nothing like a Willys to me and I have had several of both.

In any event the owner should make out a list of specific parts he needs and advertise accordingly.

Hey.. don't throw rocks at my car. But I am looking for a few parts to add to it, so they won't call it a "Willys" The looks, I bought it that way. Going to change it.

Hood and side trim and full dash..

Contact Jason at Orange County Studebakers- he had a 42 I believe that he was parting out. I am not familiar with those years & their differences, but he may be able to help you with what you need. (714)572-3777

I found a 41 on Craigslist, but he wouldn't part it out. Body badly rusted but many good parts. He wanted $550 just for the taillights.[:0] then I saw a post on here where a guy is making them.
