Those are some OLD doors...I'd say 40's or early 50's. I don't have parts catalogs that go back that far, but somebody here does.

Hopefully they can identify them for you. If you can then advertise them as for specific models and years you would be able to get more for them than just advertising them as part numbers.

282344 = right door, 1941-46, Q body coupe

282364 = right rear door, 1941-42 Commander and President, W body sedan.

None of the other numbers appear in the '36-'46 Body Parts Catalog. They may be later, try 1947-50. Odd numbers should be left side doors.

298052 is 53-54 Right rear door for W body sedan. I could use that if you were closer to Michigan. Nothing else is in the 53-57 parts book I have.

292388 - Rt front '50 Champion & Comm. 4dr (W/type B door check-stop)
292400 - Rt door '50 Champion & Comm. 2dr " " " "

The others - 292005, 283308 and 283317 aren't in any of my parts books back to 1934 and aren't in the '62 parts price list. We'll need photos of them to have a fair chance.[B)]

283308- use 282336, R/F, '41-'42 Comm & Pres.
283317- use 282365, L/R, W body '41-'42 Comm & Pres.
292005- is in early '50s price books but not in '49 book. Can't find it listed in the back of any parts books. It's called a 'panel', so this not a door?

Thanks everyone for the help in ID ing the doors, I don't know what I am going to do with them, I would hate to try to ship them.

Actually, shipping isn't that bad. I had a door for my M truck shipped to me in Massachusetts by Vern Ediger in Kansas. He wrapped one layer of cardboard around it, taped it tight, and called FedEx. They delivered it next day, no damage. I think they handle things better than the regular trucking lines. No point to build a crate for a door. It wasn't that expensive as I recall. If you need a good door, the shipping isn't too much to pay.

I've shipped fenders and other large sheet metal parts via Greyhound quite reasonably. All they require is that the sharp edges are covered. I used bubble wrap. I think a '37 Plymouth fender to Tennessee from Washington State was $45 or so.
