AVANTI INTERIOR COLORS

I am told on 64 Avanti's the interior color is solid.
I have a 64 square headlight car with black and elk interior.
On the build sheet I think the code is #14-843 ELV. iS THIS CORRECT?

I am by far NOT an Avanti expert, but from what I believe to be correct EV: is Elk Vinyl, but the majority of the interior (seats) are black! sounds like it had a color change! Sounds like a late "transition" car, or one with '63 door panels. Does it have the 1/4 window chrome escutcheons under the latch handles, "S" on the door panels, fresh air vent slots over the simulated scoop (hump) on the cowl?

Could also be a '63 with square head lights, you need to verify that with the Serial & Body number.

Being a late model it would have all of the running changes for 1964. If it came from the factory as ordered it would not have black seats. The seats and door panels as well as the dash,rear shelf and rollbar cover would be Smoked Elk vinyl. The carpet would be black.
