Pulled out the Sept. '73 Turning Wheels this morning. Skimmed thru it and found reprints of some Car Mag reviews of the all new '62 GT Hawk.
Motor Trend's tech editor said: "Twisty mountain roads like these offer no obstacle to the Hawk's near-perfect handling characteristics."
One Frank Tolbert wrote in his auto column in the Dallas Morning News: "I want to say without prolouge and without stuttering that the Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk is the most satisfactory car I've driven this season."
Kind of amazing praise for what was really an 11-year old car at the time!
