  • Need parts for rebuild 259 full flow V-8

Hello, Looking for part to rebuild my 259 v-8 motor. Motor was manufactured 1964. My wish list is as follows:

    Standard Piston Cast Iron Rings
    Lifters
Standard main, rod, and cam bearing
    New water pump
    New fiber cam gear.

I have asked fairborn for their pricing. They look good.
Just checking for better prices. I asked Studebaker International for pricing, but was told to download their catalog. I could not down load, so they lost my business.

I'm in the Studebaker resto-business and (in no particular order)
Phil Harris is one of the first guys I call for engine parts.
Chuck Collins (studebakerparts.com) is an excellent resource and great guy. I wish he lived next door instead of Arizona...
Stude International and SASCO are always good for the harder-to-get-parts.
Bill Fennessey(Biz-card in back of Turning Wheels) is good for most Weatherstrip needs.
Dave Thibeault (T-Bolt)- is a good source for Performance Parts.

Get an ALUMINUM timing gear... the fiber gears available today were made 30 years ago...you will never hear the difference- especially with your solid-lifters tapping and the wind noise tooling down the road with the windows open...
